From Stone to Textile. KLIMSZ transformed a photographic detail of rock into a seamless repeat pattern for Jitka Klett’s LUNA Collection, carrying a natural structure from image to garment.

Project
Details
The LUNA Collection was inspired by photographs taken by former Slovak President Rudolf Schuster. A close-up image of stone became the source material for a textile print connecting landscape, photography and fashion.

Challenge
The task was to preserve the depth and irregular character of the original photograph while creating a technically precise repeat. The pattern needed to flow across metres of fabric without visible seams, abrupt transitions or distracting repetition.
Goal
To develop an organic textile language that supported the silhouettes rather than overpowering them, while maintaining visual consistency from photographic source to printed material and finished garment.
Result
KLIMSZ developed the seamless pattern and production-ready artwork, refining its scale, rhythm, colour and placement for textile application. Once the collection was produced, Barbora Klimsz photographed the finished looks in Milan during Fashion Week, completing the creative journey from natural detail to repeat pattern, garment and final editorial image.
